Emtiazat for Human Development is an Egyptian nonprofit in Alexandria, working since 2018 on educating and training students, empowering women breadwinners, sponsoring families in need, and seasonal campaigns such as Ramadan food boxes, community iftar, winter warmth, and back-to-school kits.

Field work with documented results

We track the result of every program and campaign on the ground and document it with photos and numbers in our campaign reports.

Distributed 1,200 food boxes in the “Dignity in Ramadan” 1447 campaign.
Trained 180+ women breadwinners and funded small income-generating projects for them.

What we deliver on the ground

Four core programs run year-round across five Alexandria neighborhoods, supported by seasonal campaigns in Ramadan, winter, and the start of the school year.

Educating & training students

Tutoring, literacy, and the “Ready” program preparing youth for work: CVs, interviews, English, and freelancing skills.

Empowering women breadwinners

Vocational training (sewing, food production, crafts) and small income-generating grants that restore a family’s income and independence.

Family sponsorship & seasonal campaigns

Monthly sponsorships, Ramadan food boxes, community iftar, “Difa” winter warmth, and the “Bag & Book” back-to-school campaign.

Empowering Women Breadwinners

We empower women breadwinners, widows, and divorced women in Alexandria through our «Productive Women» program: training in sewing, food processing, and crafts, micro-grants for small production projects, and marketing of their products. We have trained 180+ women and funded 120+ projects cumulatively.
