Emtiazat for Human Development is a registered legal entity, operating fully within the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt that regulate civil-society work, and committed to all relevant regulatory and financial controls.

Declared legal status

Status: an Egyptian non-profit, public-benefit civil association.
Registering and supervising authority: the Ministry of Social Solidarity — Arab Republic of Egypt.
Registration number: 4127 / 2018 (status reconciled under Law 149 of 2019).
Legal seat: 20 Saad Zaghloul Street, Al Attarin, Alexandria.

Government oversight

The association is subject to oversight by the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the competent regulators. It submits its budgets, final accounts, and periodic reports as required by law, and keeps financial, administrative, and donation records that allow review and accountability.

Laws and regulations we comply with

Law No. 149 of 2019 regulating the practice of civil work, and its executive regulations.
Decisions of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the competent administrative authority governing associations.
Anti–money-laundering and counter-terrorism-financing laws regarding funding sources and donations.
Laws governing fundraising and its advertising within the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Labor, tax, and contracting laws concerning the association’s staff and counterparties.

Fundraising and financial transparency

Donations are collected only through the association’s declared official channels and with the required legal permits.
Donations are spent on their designated purposes, and every campaign is documented with a report and figures.
Accounts are audited annually, and a financial and program report is made available to the public and regulators.
Donor and beneficiary data are handled confidentially and per the published privacy policy.
