Empowering Women Breadwinners
We empower women breadwinners, widows, and divorced women in Alexandria through our «Productive Women» program: training in sewing, food processing, and crafts, micro-grants for small production projects, and marketing of their products. We have trained 180+ women and funded 120+ projects cumulatively.
Women breadwinners building income with dignity
Our «Productive Women» program serves women who carry the responsibility of providing for their families — widows, divorced women, and wives of incapacitated breadwinners — across Al Attarin, Karmouz, Al Manshiya, Al Ameriya, and Borg El Arab. We train them in income-generating skills such as sewing, home food processing, and handicrafts, then fund the most serious ideas with micro-grants for small production projects. Cumulatively, we have trained 180+ women and funded 120+ projects.
Support does not stop at training and funding. We help the women market their products through bazaars and selling groups and connect them with customers, so that training turns into real, stable income. Our goal is for every woman to be able to provide for her family with dignity and self-reliance.
