«Productive Women»: 60 women breadwinners graduate, 38 projects funded

At a ceremony at our center, we celebrated the graduation of a new «Productive Women» cohort of 60 women breadwinners who completed practical training in two tracks — sewing and home food processing — through which they learned an income-generating skill that enables them to provide for their families.

Because training is not complete without capital, the organization funded 38 small production projects for the women with the most serious ideas, from sewing machines to food-processing equipment. We continue to accompany the women in marketing their products and following up on the continuity of their projects.
